Qom Friday Imam: Iranian Nation Stands Firm in Allegiance to Supreme Leader Until Death

Delivering the Eid al-Fitr sermon at the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (SA), the Friday prayer leader of Qom declared that the Iranian nation has renewed its covenant to remain steadfast in its allegiance to the institution of Velayat-e Faqih, vowing to uphold this pledge until death.

Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi emphasized that this year marks a significant chapter in the nation's revolutionary history, as the mantle of leadership has been entrusted to Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei following the martyrdom of the beloved Leader.

A Covenant of Faithfulness

In his sermon, Ayatollah Saeedi underscored the Quranic imperative for believers to remain faithful to their promises and covenants.

"This year, with the martyrdom of our dear Leader, the guardianship of the faithful and the leadership of the community has been entrusted to Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei," he stated. "The faithful nation of Iran has pledged to remain firmly rooted in their allegiance to the Velayat-e Faqih and will stand by this covenant until the last drop of their blood."

Ramadan's Enduring Lesson: Piety as a Weapon

The senior cleric reflected on the spiritual lessons of the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that the month serves as a training ground for cultivating piety throughout the year.

"Piety is a weapon from which the enemies are deprived," Ayatollah Saeedi declared. "Our people are resisting with this weapon, and we must recognize the value of this exclusive asset and utilize it."

He cited the Quranic verse that if people had faith and practiced piety, God would open the blessings of the heavens upon them, describing Ramadan as a successful experience in cultivating God-consciousness.

The Divine Path: Turning Only to God

Referring to the supplication of Imam Sajjad (PBUH) on the day of Eid al-Fitr, Ayatollah Saeedi noted that those who call upon anyone other than God suffer loss, those who seek refuge at the door of anyone other than God are ruined, and those who seek blessings from anyone other than God are left in destitution and poverty.

He stressed that the first and foremost covenant of believers is obedience to God and His appointed guardian, reaffirming that the Iranian nation's commitment to the Leader is a manifestation of this divine obligation.

Renewed Allegiance

The Eid al-Fitr sermon, delivered just days after the funeral of the martyred intelligence minister and his family in Qom, served as a powerful reaffirmation of the Iranian people's revolutionary spirit and their unwavering loyalty to the leadership. The faithful gathered in their multitudes at the holy shrine demonstrated that the nation remains united, resilient, and firmly committed to the path of resistance and justice.
